Built by someone who has sat in your seat.
Kaldroa Advisory was not built by a consultant. It was built by an operator who lived the problem — and spent years developing the architecture to solve it.
Stephen Mistretta
Founder, Kaldroa Advisory
Stephen Mistretta spent 25 years in institutional finance — beginning at J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, and Bear Stearns, before moving into investment management where he spent over a decade running capital for European, US, and Hong Kong family offices across Cayman, Bermuda, and Luxembourg SICAV SIF structures. He has held the CIO and COO roles simultaneously across multiple ventures, founding and operationally building FCA-authorised businesses from governance frameworks and compliance infrastructure upward. He is also a VC-backed founder, with experience structuring private equity real estate transactions — GP/LP structures, preferred equity, and institutional debt — and has built proprietary AI systems from the ground up, including a full investment pipeline with live data ingestion, systematic signal architecture, and a 20-year backtesting engine. That breadth — institutional investment, operational architecture, and applied technology — is what Kaldroa Advisory is built on.
The Philosophy
Why we built Kaldroa Advisory
The Architect, not the Manager
Kaldroa Advisory does not manage money. We do not execute investments. We build the machine that governs the family office — the data architecture, operational systems, AI governance layer, and succession infrastructure. The separation is a design principle, not a limitation. An architect cannot serve two masters.
Vendor-Agnostic by Design
Kaldroa Advisory holds no referral agreements, receives no commissions, and maintains no preferred vendor relationships. Every technology recommendation is made solely on the basis of fit for the family's specific operational context. The moment a conflict of interest exists, the “Architect” designation loses its meaning. We protect that designation absolutely.
The Family Owns Everything
Every asset built during the 90-Day Sprint — every workflow, every AI model, every data architecture, every piece of documentation — belongs entirely to the family. There is no proprietary lock-in. No dependency on Kaldroa systems. The G3 Tech Keys are handed to the family on Day 90. The engagement ends. The machine continues.
